About Audrey
After working several years in the communication sector, Audrey Kelly experienced hypnotherapy to quit smoking. She had been smoking for ten years and has never been able to quit. She did not want to use nicotine replacement products or become addicted to chewing gums or other lollipops. It is only through hypnotherapy that she was able to quit and has not been smoking then. Although she doubted of it at the beginning, she realized through her own experience how powerful it was.
Audrey became fascinated by hypnotherapy and decided to study it. She regularly attends professional development training to stay up-to-date and also to propose new services and techniques to her clients. She also believes that we have the resources in ourselves to thrive for more and with some help, we can tap in that rich source of knowledge and experience. Audrey has a positive approach of life and thinks that it is important to give back to the community.
Volunteering is an important part of her life. Audrey volunteered for five years for a LGBT association. She is now volunteering for an association that helps women in Victoria by giving them support while they go through different issues including domestic violence, sexual abuse, child custody issues, homelessness or financial hardship. She is also a foster carer for retired greyhounds.
